The hotel is built on a 23000 qm land during 1985-1987. It first started with 24 rooms in the main building and greatly enlarged the resort by lodging five bungalow style houses around the property.
In April 2006 the New Part was built, located opposite the pool, accommodating another 35 large rooms. Frequently renovated the hotel has total 140 guests’ rooms of different type and size, reception and lobby area, 2 pools, a main buffet restaurant, a pool bar, an inside restaurant bar and a large parking area.

Adámas Hotel is a part of a family run hotel business starting with senior T. Gerontikos who established the company in the late 1970s. After his death in 1982 both his sons continued following his footsteps and, in his honor, naming the hotel after him. Expanding the business continuously both brothers Akis and Jiannis accomplished to create a beautiful place surrounded by olive trees on a small hill in Dassia, a hotel welcoming guests from all over the globe. Unfortunately, after the death of the younger brother Akis in 2018 the hotel was outsourced for some time.
Nevertheless, the hotel is back in the hands of the Gerontikos family, renaming and rebranding it and now run by Mr. Jiannis’s daughter.
